Thoroughbred Cabernet
Tasting notes: Barossa Cabernet Sauvignon has been Lindsay Stanley’s pride for decades. This wine shows his vast experience and love for the variety. This wine certainly set the precedent by winning the CunoPacific Trophy at the Barossa Valley Wine Show and to date has still a long way to go in the bottle. It is beautifully structured and elegant, rather than overpowering. It has black currant and plum characters, fine tannins and a soft finish. The wine drinks extremely well now, but will reward patience if cellared over several years.
